About Peg City Momma

I'm Shannon, a Winnipeg momma of two munchkins. GoGirl is my two year old daughter and ChubbyBaby is my 11 month old son. While she's a wild child, running, dancing and talking all day, he's an easy going and quiet guy. I'm on maternity leave and have my hands full keeping up with the two of them.

I was the first of my friends to have a baby, so I often found myself online, reading blogs and message boards for baby product information and recommendations. If it weren't for mom blogs, I don't think I would have tried using a sling to carry my babes or cloth diapers for my second baby. Once I was addicted to reading blogs, it wasn't long before I was blogging myself, sharing stories of our day to day with family and friends.

Peg City Momma is a blog about family friendly products, deals, events and activities, with a focus on products available to Canadians. I love to share product reviews with you and host giveaways so you can try these products too!

When looking for kids products I like to shop local, supporting Winnipeg or Canadian businesses when possible (although we do have a bit of an online shopping addiction!) I try to choose environmentally friendly products, but I'm also on a budget.
